    Please explain what you mean by "you should not attempt to eat normally". I have been a type 1 diabetic for maybe 9yrs now and have struggled a lot with my control of my blood sugars. I just today switched to a basal bolus regime and am hoping that I can finally get myself and my sugars sorted...
