Well I am in a group a Pycho drama group but nobody a type 1 diabetic and they don't understand how I can't self care with diabetes and find it hard coping in a group..I was just hoping to find someone who is a brittle type 1 diabetic with borderline personality disorder..I live in Bristol...

Thank you Karen..my nurse told me to get Id but not where to get it from..been on phone to nurses but to be honest I have had more information here..they have not told me about any of the things you have mentioned but next week I will have a lot more questions he x

My doctor says I have to test test test..he said they only give funding for a CGM if you are going unconscious with hypos..he said about the cash strapped nhs...thank you for all the great advice will spk to my diabetic nurse and ask about DAFNE course...

Do you know I have no idea what a basal test is..no courses have been offered to me but I am going to write this all down..I can't believe how ignorant I am..I did see my doctor tonight and he has prescribed 150 meter strips per prescription ..he said to test test test..soo that was great..

We do our best but don't let people lead you to believe it's all soo easy..my diabetic nurse tells me even they don't have the answers!

Yes on Mirtazapine..been on them for two years..and I go to a group ..am the only diabetic with borderline personality disorder I know of..nobody in my group has diabetes..

Last year I had the highest hba1c In bristol 145..but they came down to 85. .am a brittle diabetic me thinks maybe you are to..it's not easy for everybody. .some people are excellent others are not quite so excellent lol ..[emoji3]

Yes it can be different for everybody..I am scared to go out too far..currently don't get enough testing strips..I will make an appointment tomorrow to try and get more...you're lucky to have a loving watchful wife [emoji3]
