    What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

    8.0 this morning but on reading this thread I realised I might be testing at the wrong time. I usually test in work around 8.30am rather than on getting up from bed. I will try that from tomorrow.

    Sorry Murph524 can I just ask are you doing the Newcastle diet breakfast, lunch and dinner. I could try that as well instead of doing the low carb at dinner. I am just desperate to get the fasting sugar down. Thanks

    Thanks for your response I looked into the Newcastle Diets but the Optifast milkshake is not available here in Ireland, I also learnt you can use the Asda biggest looser shakes which I have been on for the last two weeks for breakfat and lunch and the low carb diet for dinner.I am so looking...

    Hi Andi, Low Carb 30g (ish) Hba1c 106 in Feb 2013 BMI 31.0 Hba1c 56 in May 2013 BMI 26.0 Hba1c 41 in July 2013 BMI 23.6 I am really fascinated with the level at which your Hba1c and BMI is gradually reducing on your low carb diet. Any help as to how you re doing it will be gladly appreciated...
