Thanks Pipp. He's away at Uni so I'm going to pack up a parcel of potential remedies to pop in the post and encourage a dermatology appointment.

He has been prescribed antibiotics, a cream for scabies and a standard moisturiser. Has anyone else had experience of this? Any suggestions...

End of honeymoon? Producing own insulin?

Hi, my son aged 16 was diagnosed T1 last May. He's been a star and maintained his levels between 4-7 with one Glargine injection a day plus Novorapid before meals according to carb count. This past week he has needed virtually no Novorapid to maintain the 4-7 level. We are thinking that his own...

iBG Star blood glucose monitor-any advice pls?

Thanks Robert. He is currently on iPhone 4s but upgrading - Xmas pressie- to 5s, So, does that mean an extra 'widget' is needed? It all looks very small and easy to lose !! I'm guessing the strips are not NHS funded, so £20 for 50 sounds a bit steep. Thanks, tips much appreciated!

Re: Need some advice :) Good morning Lucy, I'm pleased that your hubby is doing so well, and pleased for him too that he has your support. Hi Rachy, hope you are feeling a bit better! Would I be guessing right at hangover perhaps? My son, 16 years and recently T1 diagnosed, had a 'serious' talking to by diabetes doctor this week. School visit

Fantastic, well done you - those kids will go home and chat to their parents and spreading info is a great thing. I love that you took the emphasis away from the quality of your dancing too- more important matters at hand! My teenage boys would be 'mortified' if I even wiggled a hip so good on you!
