    LCHF without ketosis - Beneficial?

I eat around 10-20g of carbs per day and have done for around 3 weeks. Blood sugar are as good as it gets and no hunger or fatigue noticed. However for some reason I am not in Ketosis as I test myself to check and never above 0.3. It’s usually around 0.1. Don’t know why? Can any one help??

    Keto vs LCHF

Hi all, sorry to interrupt your thread but need a bit of advise. Been a type 1 for 5 years with very good control. However since Christmas it has slipped. What should your BG reading be before bed?

Mine are usually about 6.5-7 and I wake up at about 5.5-6.5 I think it depends on ur background insulin dose, absorption rate and whether u have done much exercise before bed

I'm not an expert but I would probably start drinking a lot of fluid to flush them out and keep checking them very regularly. If they go up not down maybe phone 111?

    Granola!!

Every morning since being a T1 I have always had the same breakfast. Multi seed toast with 2 units of insulin job done. Bloods perfect. However just this once I fancied a change. I look in the cupboard and found my wife's Granola cereal. A quick glance at the label it read whole grain oats with...

    Neuropathy this early?

Hi all, I've been a T1 for about 6 months now and have a question about neuropathy. Since diagnosis I have had super tight control of levels. Very rarely will I be high and if so it will be corrected quickly. I am quite fit (jogging and tennis 5x a week) and I'm 29 years old! Recently I...
