    Gliclazide dosage

Hi, I don't take gliclazide now but I have done in the past. I personally would be changing anything in the basis of one reading, and that to one side 4.5 would be a perfectly acceptable pre-meal BS for me. My advice would be not to change your meds if a dN has advised otherwise but keep a...

I had this happen a few months ago and was upset because I loved my ContourNext USB meter (which the manufacturer supplied for free). please help dka jobcenter

I might be working off outdated information because it's a few years since I worked at the JobCentre, but I used to handle some aspects of sanctions so this may help! If you altered the JC before you were due to sign then no sanction will be on your claim BUT they aren't able to release payment...

    Test strips - Swapped

I got a contour next USB from the same freebie survey and my GP was happy to change my script with no restrictions. BUT at my last appointment for bloods I was told everyone was being changed onto Glucomen meters as they had a contract which allowed them to get the strips much cheaper. Although...

How Many of You With Type 2 Have ...

Although I'm not strictly a type 2 (I'm a MODY) I have never come across this problem with any of my GP's! Infact when I changed to my Contor Next meter I was told 'you'll never get those strips on prescription!' And again no problem.
