    Vitamins? Pre conception

    Hi everyone, I know that we need a prescription dose of folic acid, but should I be taking a pre conception multivitamin as well? What did you do in preparation? Any advice appreciated as I’m waiting to see the pre conception clinic. Thank you!

    10 wks pregnant and only just started taking higher dose of folic acid

    I am a T1 diabetic and was seeing my GP for care. She did not inform me I needed to take 5mg of folic acid in addition to the Elevit I have been taking (800milligrams).
