    Type 2 and Coeliac and lactose intolerant! Newly diagnosed type 2=only yesterday!

    Hello all Im already coeliac and lactose intolerant then yesterday I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes! Obviously it was a dark day yesterday and still getting my head around this! The nurse asked if I’d known I was pre diabetic for the past 2 years... erm Nope! I was shocked as I was 10.2...

    How is Metformin Dosage Determined?

    Hi All, I was wondering if anyone knows how the dosage of Metformin is determined? Is it dependent on weight as well as blood sugar levels? What factors would make the dosage increase/decrease? I'm just after some advice to better understand the drug! Thanks!

    Metformin Slow Release 2 or 3?

    I have been taking Metformin Slow Release 500g for about four months. The last time I went for my prescription the pharmacy asked why I was taking three a day. She said I should only need two a day as they are Slow Release. She doesn't know me so is she correct in what she is saying? Regards Tony
