‘Stop Eating After 7pm’ Challenge

You're all ready using some strategies. First is recognising its not real hunger but some emotional or habitual eating instead .
Second would be to post your eating times in here, and know that others see them. We're not judgemental, we've all been there too but somehow that 'accountability ' is enough, or at least a part of the strategy.
Another is to make sure you have a satiating enough meal. I like to finish with cheese, the fats are very filling. If my conscious brain knows I've been fed enough then it's less likely to try to tempt me with snacks.
Also believe that low carb works and appetite reduces so nothing more is needed.
Initially I liked the slightly hungry feeling I went to bed with. It showed me I'd successfully had an evening without snacks. It became even more rewarding as I saw the weight drop off. And, funnilly enough although I was a little hungry at bed time I was never hungry first thing the next morning... so I was never really hungry the night before, it was just habit?

I don't post on this thread often because it's such an ingrained habit now that I no longer even think about it.
Sometimes the next morning I don't need to eat for some hours so my fast has gradually increased over time.

Tonight I won't eat as I'm simply not hungry and it's 8pm already. I'll survive fine until tomorrow

And social life intervenes again.
Pub event so ate at about 19:45. Was still hungry when home again so cheese and seed crackers at 22:00.
At least its only every so often.

That's the idea @MrsA2. Why not focus on all the evenings when you did indeed stop eating at 7.00 pm.
