one tiny leap for mankind.... i huge leap for andy,
ok this is going to seem very insignificent in the grand sceme of things but today i managed a full 15 minute run on the treadmill in the gym, i was one minute running one minute jogging 3 weeks ago and the trainer person said the goal was to do it all jogging which to be honest looked completely impossible, but today at 7:30 am i did it :) i almost held my hands up in the air like the marathon runners going through the tape but restrained myself, sorry this is dumb but i feel fantastic about it and had to tell someone....ok ok ive told everyone hehe, ok enough self back slapping, 20 minutes tommorow :) :) :)

Well done Andy, you've inspired me to try too  What jogging speed do you set the machine at?

Thank you :) I set the machine at 6.0 at a 2.0 incline for 5 minute warm up then at 6.0 and 7.5 kph one minute fast walk one minute jog I slowly stretched out the jog to 2.5 minutes with four minutes to finish but today was all 7.5 jog :) at a minute of each a few weeks ago it was so hard in fact even the warm up was a struggle, I feel like i climbed Everest hehe, I don't think I ever achieved anything before. It's a huge big deal for me and feel like I can do anything now.... A unique day for sure, diabetes sure is a strange thing, I hate it but never would have known this feeling without it. Oh and everyone I see tells me how healthy I look, incredible really that it takes an incurable illness to be healthy, sorry I'm rambling ill shup :)
