Hi everyone,

We're two weeks in to discovering our little 10 month old man has Type 1 diabetes, a devastating blow as I'm sure you all experienced.

At the moment we have a little leather clip-on pouch which literally hangs off his clothes, it gets in the way and falls off all the time. I,m wondering if any of you can recommend where we would get something small enough for our baby to carry his pouch around. We've been on Medtronic and Funky Pumper but they don't do carry accessories for babies.

Oh sowing is out of the question, I have no kills in the creativity department.

Any advice is welcomed

Many thanks,

Donna

Welcome to the forum Donna, I'll 'bump' your post up in the hope that you may get some replies.

Hi

unfortunately, pumps are made in a one size for all which doesnt help babies or small children.

I have a fabric pump case for children which fastens around the waist using elastic and velcro so can be adjusted to fit any waist size except adult. Its no good to me so you are eelcome to it as it was given me. If you would like it, send a msg to Giverny the moderator and then she can contact me with yr name and address.

Dont leave yr name and address on this thread. Do it privately. You have to leave a certain amount of msgs on the forum before you can send PMs

All the best

Thank you for your message, I too discovered that they don't make pumps carriers for babies, it's a shame, but prehaps a good thing really as it means there aren't many babies diagnosed thankfully.

I'd really appreciate the carrier if you wouldn't mind sending it, it sounds perfect for me. I'm happy to pay for it and and cover postage too. I'm really grateful for the offer thank you. I'll see if I can find Giverny and pop my address on there.

Thanks again
