A week in on a lower carb diet and I am so happy with it. Lost some weight and my readings are pretty good. Pre breakfast for the last few days have been low 6 rising to high 6 (6.8, 6.9) a couple of hours after. Been back in the gym as well so all helping.
 
Also suggest to look for foods with low-glycemic index.

Look for the amount of carbohydrates at the back of each food packet.
