I may be a type 1 (still waiting to find out) and i'm 24? thats close? Mentally maybe 18 ?

was in 1970 when i was diagnosed as type 1 insulin dependent diabetic.I went crazy especially as it was supposed to be the best time of my life but at least it is not life threatening(well you have to look after yourself cos no one else will).Just started work going to clubs etc drinking partying etc but i stayed in hospital for two weeks back in work after going from 5 stone to 6 stone!!! and back off out doing all the things 17year olds did in them days!!!by the way im still here at 5?????with four kids well they are 22, 21, 19, 17, never get any help off them though !!!!and now i can go out with them.still taking my needles out to inject whenever i have to .it doesnt bother me at all.so if you are 17 now just enjoy yourself like any 17 year old does even if you are diabetic!!!!just follow the rules and you will be ok
