2 Different Readings

I would really apprfeciate some help pleaseIwas given an Aviva accu check meter by my DN and all appeared well until the meter stoppeed but at the same time inBalance Mag Pura My Life were Offering afree meter how lucky ,Itelephoned and explained my problem and she promised a new meter ASAP and 48hrs later it was here and during this waiting time I spoke to Aviva who said anew meter would be saent in 3 to 5 days so no problem i had a weorking meter aafter 90 tests with the my life meter i decided to go back to the aviva(free strips from doctor) And did a test 30 mins ago and got 7.4 which i thought was high so did test with other meter within the space of a minute and this was 6.3 ,two different meters two different results how can i decide which one is correct//any help please??

Quite a few threads on the topic of repeated testing with same or different meters

Jist is - Don't do it , it'll will send you mad - there are accuracy tollerance on the same meter (so you may get different reads at same time with the same meter ) then add in the variances of a 2nd meter :crazy: :crazy:

Try to stick to 1 meter, test once 2 hours after food - you will know when you get a 'weird' reading, re-try it to see if you get a more normal (what you expect from your usual reaction to certain foods) reading, if not consider if there was a 'hidden carb' in that meal.
