2 little treats for those who need them :

1. Tescos Finest range - walnuts dipped in belgium chocolate. Carbs are 19.6 per 100 grams but there's quite a lot in a 150 gram bag so a couple of the little things are bearable.

2. If you have an ice cream maker, throw some greek yoghurt and raspberries in with either a little sugar or splenda-amazing what difference a bit of cold does :). Tonight I just threw in a few pots of shape zero yoghurt before I made my mackerel salad and I had frozen yoghurt by the time I'd finished my dinner :)

I do the frozen yogurt thing too. I use frozen mixed forest fruitsand Splenda. Tastier than "real" ice-cream.

Cool. Going to get some frozen berries tomorrow! Did see a recipe for yoghurt with peanut butter and cocoa ( but I'm really not sure about that!! )

Chocolate ice-cream:
I banana already chopped and frozen and stored in the freezer.

Put this in your food-mixer, add a tablespoonful of yoghurt or mascarpone or ricotta, a tablespoonful of low-fat cocoa-powder, a teaspoonful of vanilla essence if you like, (and a tablespoonful of maple-syrup if you can justify it) and then blitz the mixture.

This is enough for 2 people and is incredibly delicious. :D
