2016/17 Football Season

Rovers three points clear!
But we are not flying!
Not moaning!
Just wish it was easier on my nerves!

Well done Terriers and cumbrians.
Saints will be struggling I'm afraid!
Think the Gooners need a good night on the transfer window! Leeds are poor! FGR will be there or thereabouts in the middle of nowhere!

Another long journey down sarf to Aldershot!
A result of any kind will keep us top, hopefully our great away form continues as it is now 15 away games without defeat. Broke all our records on this run!

Back home for fat Sam debut on Sunday in World cup qualifying.
Here's to all our teams wether playing or not!

Good Luck hope you get a win i got faith in you
Ill be lost without the championship playing tomorrow.Gotta wait till next Saturday for that. Hopefully ill be home from my operation in plenty time to see the scores. Im off for an op on my nose to correct a bent Septum next Friday then they keep me in over night

Hope your op goes ok mate.
Best wishes

Well I missed the home game today too much work with the house move this week

Listened to it on Radio Cumbria sounded a decent game

Well done tranny

Tranny lost didnt they ??
Yep, first defeat of the season.
And just as we were getting on top, we gave away a penalty.
But, I think, we need a rethink on our tactics as we are not playing well, and whoever we play are not under much pressure. We are too narrow and teams have too much space wide. We play too long too much.
We have some good players that are not getting the right sort of pass, cross, space and support as they should get in, if we had better tactics, formation and shape!
Boy, did it rain, in Aldershot!

Hey ho, FGR are top, @zand will be pleased!

Still early days!
Carlisle scraped a draw.

Lincoln, next at home, Saturday.

You had hardlines. Hopefully you can turn it around and beat Lincoln

Sorry Nosher
Not really with it this weekend
Just assumed tranny were sweeping all before them

Oh well England managed to score with the last kick of the game.Should have wrapped it up sooner.

Caught the last 15 mins and they were piling on the pressure, surprised they didn't score sooner. Good result for Big Sam

Pleased Lallana scored
He was one of our better players in the Euro's

Fat Sam has always been a 'dont lose' manager!
Qualifying should be comfortably done!
We will see how the lads do against Malta in October.

Being too negative against the big boys will be his downfall!

Then there is always the famous saying, from a well known chairman.
'Dont give me a good manager, I'd rather have a lucky one!'

A win is a win, is a win!

Good Luck tomorrow everyone hope you all get a good result. We have got the not so mighty (Well not this season at any rate) Leeds at theirs. Hopefully we can overturn them and notch up our 5th win and keep the run going.UTT
