2024/25 Football Season

I feel for you mate. Lets hope they improve. It doesn't look good for Carlisle and @Cumberland . Not seen him for ages. I hope he's ok.

Probably would have taken it before the game.
They are going no where fast, which is fun to see.

Hibs are awful and going down, Dundee beat them 3-1...
The sun is out and it's a nice day here.

Carlisle will not go down mate, the two worst teams in the league are Swindon and Rovers.
Both Carlisle and Morecambe have sorted themselves, and will add better quality in January at this present time, we dont, and we are getting worse, not better, and the football is really awful.
Wombles at home Tuesday. Can't see us scoring or winning as our midfield and attacking options are limited by injuries.
 
As I said the Wombles at home.
I would be surprised at a win.

Oh yessss another 3 points in the bag. The other results went in our favour we are in 5th place. We missed a penalty but what the heck we still won. 4 wins and 2 draws from the last 6 League games. Nobody can dispute that's good going. Next scalp for the taking is Wigan at our place next Tuesday night. It's FA Cup day on Saturday so we have to sit that out. Onwards and Upwards. Hopefully we can keep this good run going and be sitting comfortable at Christmas. Watch this space lol.
 
I did predict another defeat.
We did play better and we created more chances.
We still couldn't score.
They were lethal and scored two good, well worked goals.

Just above the relegation zone.

Next up is a relegation battle v Morecambe at PP, next Tuesday.
A defining moment in our season before the chrimbo fixtures.
 
Yeah I saw that mate. I sympathsise with you. You are similar to us and can't score goals. I's just a miracle we won last night. Had enough chances and even missed a penalty. Still I suppose 3 points is better than nothing. Good luck in your next match. Hoping you don't go down.
 
Never thought I'd see myself congratulating Leeds on getting to the top of the Championship. Considering we at the Town see them as our Rivals lol.

One of our gang is a Leeds United supporter, as is my wife, so congratulations are acceptable.
Not convinced by their manager for the PL though.

I dunno much about their manager. But I do know they were unlucky last year in missing out on the play offs by a whisker so they do deserve to go up this time. There's no sour grapes from me even though they are our rivals.

Good luck to any of our teams playing this weekend. It's FA Cup time and we not got a game after being dumped out on the first round by Crawley.
 
At home to St Mirren on Saturday at 15:00.
They seem to have discovered the winning habit so it better be stopped with a United win.
