28 weeks - is this ok?

Hi all I'm am now 28 weeks and I have been told I have gesgestional diabetes but could more than likely be type 2 as my levels were shocking the highest they have racked is around 19 now I'm on this new insulin hey have gone down to an average of around 9 is that good I had the worst doctor in the world tell me if I don't stop eating sugary foods my baby will be stillborn I went mad is she Ment to be that blunt is his something I should worrie about
