Type 2 3.9 BG Reading

I came home from school this evening feeling light headed and a bit bizarre. I took a reading just before I ate and it was 3.9. We have key staff off at the moment so it's been a heavy week! Should I be overally concerned about the reading or just ignore it? I will blood test again but I feel absolutely whacked! Inam on 1500 Metformin and 40 of Gliclazide if that's of any significance.

You are on hypo inducing medication. 3.9 is a (mild) hypo. Treat your hypo by having a small amount of fast acting carbs - a small glass of orange juice for example.

I start to feel odd once I hit 4.0 or lower too - I carry jelly babies and glucose with me at all time - just in case.
