just 3 days to go until i get my results from the dr and find out if i am indeed diabetic :?
Regardless of the result this has been a big wake up call for me, i've always been overweight but saw it as more of a pain than how it was affecting my health. Upon getting weighed at the dr's, after the embarassment came shock, clinically i am obese rather than overweight, that was very hard to come to terms with
It has however given me a huge kick up the bum and i am trying very hard now to eat right and walk the kids to school rather than driving. small steps but this is just the beginning.
I just want to thank you all, reading the posts on the forum has shown me diabetes (if i do have it) isn't the end of the world, and with a change of lifestyle and a sense of humour you all seem to deal with it really well. Despite this i am hoping my next post will be to tell you that i don't have it but wo knows???
Thanks to yu all
Tracy
