hi there thanks im on metformin 2k milligrams a day, atorvastatin and lisinoprol...i have been in 3s a couple of times but as i say i do feel it coming on so i know the symptoms and do something about it quick...i have been type 2 for 15 months and i was told by my nurse at my annual check i am now classed as pre diabetic...but i think once diabetic always diabetic...i keep a close eye on everything inc my diet.Hi and welcome to the forum @markbsac . Lowish blood sugars can make you feel dreadful. At 4.3 it is not classed as a hypo, but if your blood sugars have been running high, then a drop to 4.3 may make you feel a bit queazy. If you don’t mind me asking, what meds are you on ? And are you on any particular diet ? Of course, not everything can be diabetes related, so blood pressure and hydration can impact you too.
I hope you are feeling a bit better.
thanks nothing to worry about really then as do monitor my bloods sometimes 4 times a day...and if i feel funny i di blood check and eat some jelly sweetsI too have lows @markbsac . I’ve been in the high 1’s with all the low blood sugar symptoms, so I feel for you. I do have unstable blood sugars, I had those before The meds. My dr did tell me if you drop down into the mid 3’s it is nothing to worry about especially if you are producing insulin and your liver can correct the low. I also read that even none diabetics can dip into the mid to high 3’s .
Congratulations on bringing down your blood sugars, that’s a great result whether it’s with meds or by diet.
