I was diagnosed with type 2 in June with a score of 66mmol weighing 125 kg. Was prescribed 1 x 500 mg metformin.
First bloods since and I'm down to 41mmol and 110 kg. I have agreed with nurse to stop metformin and be tested again in January. If all is well I can stay off the tablets.

I've not been monitoring my bloods just recording what I eat; 1500 cals per day, around 100g of carb. Started exercise and that's it.
