I've had a few of them recently! Sugar levels have been great, but work has been really tough. I'm saving for a house and have got no money. It's all worn me down!

Thanks sam and jane, I am usually very active and probably the fourth spell I've had like this, this year. Viscous circle, for a while everythings great, full of energy then just wake up and can't be bothered and find it hard to shift even after planning to do things the next day. Heres hoping weekend will be better

We've all been there! I'm back to work after a holiday which is never fun. I can't get my BG as low as it was pre holiday, I've had a headache for 6 days and I'm resenting being stuck at a desk job when I should be out in the field!

Shortly before diagnosis I went through the phase of not wanting to go out and see anyone or do anything, apparently I can blame my high BG for that! I genuinely didnt know I was sick, I felt fine apart from generally grumpy. I forced myself to go out for dinner as planned tonight but its hard to enjoy it when you feel your head is about to explode!

Constant headache and head about to explode sums it up nicely. Only good thing is sugars been very good which I wouldn't expect feeling this way.

Bloods in control is a bonus! I find that as much as I don't want to go out, I have to walks dog and usually it helps in the long run

Going to try and get out and about tomorrow, hopefully will help

We all get like that sometimes Brett, getting out and about is a good way of dealing with life's stresses and strains, keep your chin up mate and hope you feel better soon!

Hi weezer, No, thought about it though, planning on some gardening tomorrow if weather is nice so at least I will get some excercise and fresh air

I had my wellies on..... Apparently tomorrow is no better. We've had 4 days of "warm" weather (12 degrees) so that's summer over here anyway.

12 degrees!!, thats a heatwave in uk lol

Precisely! Shorts on and ice creams all around! But hey it's Scotland, it'll probably snow again next week

Just to update as well as feeling very depressed symptoms got alot worse with excess sweats, constant migrain, stomach cramps to name a few. Phoned docs on call and ended up at a&e. to cut short told to stop citralopram (anti ds) as I was suffering from most of the side effects from them and the reasons I was put on then were all extremely exaggerated. also told to see my doc as precautionary for blood, urine and stool samples to rule out anything else. On the plus side got out the house first time this week.

I'm not sure that counts as a trip out of the house, doesn't sound much fun! Hopefully the side effects will go now you're off the meds and you'll feel more up for doing things
