I was diagnosed T2 in Sept 20 & immediately cut down carbs, lost weight, got down from HbA1C 54 to 44, now very low carb and sitting at HbA1C of 41. But since then have been tested and found to have the T1 antibodies. I remain drug free currently & in remission however I’m being watched carefully for signs of T1. Consultant and diabetes dieticians tell me I’m unusual but I think there are possibly many of us T2-T1s out here!</blockquote>
