Type 2 6 Month Assessment

Good afternoon all my friends my 6 month assessment is due in 2/3 weeks time do all surgeries automatically get in touch ,do all surgeries even do a 6 month assessment ,only when I had my 3 month assessment no one said we will see you in 3 months,I am asking now so that I am prepared,as forewarned is forearmed so to speak

Just book yourself in for the blood tests..that's what I usually do.
Then I get the results online and never speak to the GP or DN (both worse than useless).

They all vary as to their internal organisation. Your best bet is to give them a ring and ask.

My own surgery write to me about 3 weeks or so beforehand asking me to make an appointment with a health care assistant for my blood test, blood pressure, urine test and so forth. Once that is all done, I make an appointment with the diabetes nurse for the foot test and general discussion about the results. etc. I have 6 monthly blood tests but only see the nurse once a year.
