Hiya. I've been on the forums a few times to talk about low carbing. I've been today to the diabetes clinic for a 6 months review. In January pre an eye operation my hba1c was 71. Today after low carbing for a couple of months, I'm down to 61. I was shocked. It's the lowest I've ever been. Now, just to let you know, I'm not no carbing, I've just reduced my carbs so I'm having half the amount of rice I normally have, I'm eating milk roll bread and having fewer potatoes. The consultant was really pleased and said about reducing my insulin before bed. I thought you'd like to hear about my success and also thanks to everyone on the forums, you've been so friendly and helpful.
