Hi there,

Can someone tell me if you need a code for the above meter please? I have not been using one and it seems fine.

Also, is this the easiest meter to use, if there are more convenient ones, can my nurse get one for me?

When I am out and carrying a spare, what else should I carry, apart from the basic epuipment?

How does everyone keep track of when they open a new pot of strips (especially as it is a different pot to the one I keep at home and opened at different times due to differing use)?

I'm really struggling to get organised and remember everything..........

Many thanks,

Hi Newbie and welcome.

I have that meter and no you don't need a code.
To keep an eye on your strips all you need to know is when they run out and there's a date on them, but so I know when I ordered them I stick the sticker from the surgery onto the vile.
If you need to test when you're out you can buy steralized little wipes for your fingers from chemist.

Helena :)
