Just thought I would share this with you:

I was having a mild hypo the other night and feeling a bit shaky at 2.9 and my wife said to me ' would you like a diet coke' to which I replied 'that would be nice dear but would you put a couple of teaspoons of sugar in it please'. It tickled me at the time. Diabetes can be confusing to many people even after a few years of living with someone who has it.

Hi @birchy66 . That's good.
Takes me back to my 1st ever hypo.
I was living with parents and I went hypo not long after going bed.
To cut a long story short, my mum bless her told my dad to make me a sandwich and be sure to use that special jam .
Yes it was the sugar free stuff.
We were all new to diabetes at the time.
