My DN has told me I should consider changing from the combined pill to a progesterone only pill due to me being diabetic. It took me a long time to settle on my current pill and I am reluctant to change. I am not keen on trying progesterone only as I would be worried about acne and flare up of IBS. Do any of the ladies on this forum have any suggestions on which pill is best for diabetics and which pill do you use please?
Thank you. (currently on Femodene)

Can't really offer any constructive advice but I'm on cerazette, which is a progesterone only pill and don't have any problems. I've been on it for about 5 years. I've been type 1 diabetic since November, not sure if that's relevant. I didn't realise the pill had any effect on diabetes?

Thanks Rosie, no neither did I, apparently, the nurse said progesterone only is better than combined. Thanks for letting me know your experience of cerazette.
