A quick question about intermittent fasting.

I decided to try intermittent fasting in addition to lchf diet. Two hours after dinner last night I was 7.7. My fasting level this morning was 8.7 and when I tested again at noon it had increased to 10.4. I didn't feel too hungry and I think that I could continue fasting between 7pm and noon long term.
What would be more beneficial in the long term, fasting until noon or having scrambled eggs with butter at 6.30am to stop the continuing rise?

I can only say what worked for me. As soon as I get up, before getting dressed or anything else, I have a coffee with double cream. I try to avoid any strenuous exercise in the mornings. I just have a walk towards lunch time. I sometimes have a cup of tea mid morning. Other than that, just water. Since starting this several months ago I have seen my lowest ever pre-lunch levels.

I had previously tried a boiled egg. That didn't work.
Previous to that I had breakfast of full fat yogurt and a very few berries. That made it worse.

Stick with the intermittent fasting.... The liver dumps will become less significant over time.

I went thru the phase of panic during fasting as I was alarmed at the rising glucose too... I was reassured by Jason Fung that it is not a bad thing, it just means you have more work to do to expel the excess glucose from your liver stores.

He was right, sticking with it stopped the massive liver dumps over a period of several weeks.

Is there anyway to stop this morning rise even though you haven't eaten anything?

Thanks @Bluetit1802 , @Jamesuk9 , @Rosiegough_
I tried the coffee with cream when Bluetit1802 suggested it a while back but it didn't stop my level from rising. I think I like cream too much so I am limiting myself to two cups of coffee a day with 3x 15ml spoonsful of cream. I think I will try waiting until lunch before eating or drinking anything but water for a few weeks and see how I get on. X
