a request for common sense

Hi there
I am a newly promoted moderator and am honoured to be helping this ever growing community to succeed and expand in helping people with diabetes be the best they can be.

My request is pretty simple

If you are thinking of posting on a topic - please try to stay on topic , please try not to scare newly diagnosed people that might read the thread with your individual experience comments that could be off putting , and most of all please try to "walk a mile" in other peoples shoes before posting - we are not all the same

If you are posting a new thread try to give as complete a picture as you are able to help the people that reply to give proper supportive responses and please do not allow the tiny minority that seem to wish to boost their personal agendas without taking into account the needs of the original poster to cause you as a new poster to be intimidated.
( new posters/ members -- please report anything you think is intimidating -- don't just walk away from the forum )

I love this community and so want us all to help each other to be the best that we can be -- which is ourselves ( with D )
