I mean this. Please take note.

I've noticed lately that I have been - (how to put this without frightening anyone?)...

...THROWING AWAY A LOT OF FOOD!!! <<<GASP>>>

Something about lo-carbing makes me not so hungry anymore. As a result, I'm throwing away great cuts of meat, expensive cheese, fresh (but not so fresh anymore) veg, out of date egss etc - I'm wasting a goddamn fortune!

Just thought I'd better warn y'all. I know there are 1 or 2 lo-carbers around here, I'd hate for them to have to suffer with this like I have. Please - don't make the same mistake as me.

Corn Fed Chicken Breasts for tea tonight - skin on, of course! 8)

Don't go into a shop without a 'list'. Buy daily what you need, rather than weekly on the basis of what you might want to eat. Alternatively, plan a weeks menus on the basis that yesterdays not used or leftovers can carry forward into tomorrows meal.

Its easy.

Compost bin is also useful for the salad you didn't finish as well as those crusty outside leaves etc.

Longer term you'll get used to your reduced demand but I kind of know what you mean. It's even worse with a tiny and very elderly mother, you can't even palm the excess off on her like you can a wife <G>
