Whilst you can access all basal and bolus functions directly on the pump itself, if you want to use the bolus wizard you need to do a BG test using the handset. You can log non-pump insulin doses i.e. a corrective via pen using the handset, but you can't use another BG test machine and then plug that into the insight.

It's a cracking piece of kit by the way.

Ive just started on this pump and it looks great. Easy to use and the fact you can navigate it from handset is great. The only downside is that the handset is quite sluggish. I think one from combo is faster to use
