Hi :) Very easy really. Book a table in a pub and post it here. Setting group on facebook helps a lot too. We have now over 250 members! Keep it simple, go for a pub which doesn't get very busy, has a large table for at least 10 people (that should be enough at the start) and meet on a Saturday lunch time (as its convenient for most people). Good luck :)

Great he found us here. Lots of support and I'm sure that joining a community like this will help him a lot. Would be great if he could join some groups in Karkow, or even set up one if there isn't anything. I did it here and it helped me a lot :)

Yes, they do taste okay just not sure if I got measurements right for Soya Flour and Ground Almonds. Have a good holiday and I will wait for your comments.
Soon to have first HbA1c since being on pump - fingers crossed for improvement.

have tried my own bun recipe. Would like your opinion on this and would appreciate any improvement, if needed.
1oz. Soya flour, 3oz. Ground Almonds, 1 tsp. Baking Powder, 4oz. Xylitol, 2 Eggs, 4oz. Soft marg. 1 oz. Coconut, Zest of 1 Lemon. Makes 10. Gas 4. 25 mins. Cho. 11.6 ea.
Improving greatly on the pump, hope you are too. Great to have freedom after 37 years.

I have just been looking at your baking blog. I am so impressed with your recipes and I am keen to try some.
Although I have adapted recipes in the past I have never used Soy Flour or Xylitol.
Once I have found where to purchase these I will be trying some of the cake recipes.
      Keep up the good work.
