Just got a reply to my email asking when these were coming

Dear
Thank you for contacting Roche Diabetes Care.
The long wait for the Accu-Chek Mobile adapter should soon be over. We have been informed that new Accu-Chek Mobile adapter should be delivered this week, meaning all pre-orders will be fulfilled in the next two or three weeks.
Please do not hesitate to contact us, if we can be of any further assistance. Thank you for your patience.
Kind regards,

Accu-Chek Customer Service Team

So then I have to choose this or the count our next one freebie I recently got. Contour one less bulky unit but has strips so the overall kit just as cumbersome.

I disagree on the size front the contour next one is much smaller even with the pot of strips and lancet device. The software is better. It’s easier to use than the mobile. It holds more test results too.. white on black is easier to read.. test port light means tests can be done in the dark

The contour itself is definitely smaller especially when the accuchek has the finger pricked and Bluetooth attached. But that’s one unit to pick up and put down rather than a pouch. Maybe I’ve just got used to the accuchek having a cassette and not having to faff with strips. On the negative side for the accuchek without fail every cassette I’ll have at least 3 or 4 and sometimes more fails due to applying blood incorrectly in some way. It seems to be those stupid **** tabs that are supposed to help in some way. The very first cassette I had didn’t have them and I was fine with that one despite being new to testing. I don’t like the accuchek software but haven’t looked at the contour.

And then of course I’ll have to see if they’ll switch my prescription to contour if I want to go with that one. I’m so **** lucky to get them I’m reluctant to rock the boat

The Next One pouch fits neatly in my shirt pocket, and that's with extra accu-chek lancet drums and a multiclix lancing device.

I think the Abbot software is better than the Contour's with it's logbook printout, I am a bit disappointed in that.

You still have to fiddle a strip in before it lights up.

Edited: Typo.
