Just a ponder. I have had a lot of aches and pains over the years, particularly since being diagnosed T2 last July, hip, big toes and hands as well as being TATT[tired all the time]. Since then i have lost 13 kilos, been on a low carb and gluten free diet and my bloods seem to be responding well. Had figures of 4.8, 5 and max of 6 when testing and now dont have all the aches i used to get and am no longer so terribly tired all day. It seems as though my body has returned to normal, well, as normal as it can be for a 55 year old who works physically for a living.
Its quite noticeable to me that i dont 'hurt' as i used to just getting about and ive done nothing except alter my diet.
Is it possible that the diabetes was causing all my physical pain? Some days were quite bad and pain killers were the order of the day. Not any more thank heavens.

Hi Andy,

Good to hear your aches and pains have disappeared Andy! :)

It's quite possible a combination of cutting out gluten, eating healthier (low-carb) and your fantastic weight loss have all contributed to your improved health.

My next door neighbours has gluten intolerance and was very run down prior to diagnosis, according to the following site joint pain & fatigue are just a few of the symptoms listed:
