Aching bones in arm

I take 120.75mg metformin a day. I have been taking it since last December, At first I had a very sore stomach but that soon cleared up. For a while now I have had an aching left arm, a bit like muscle strain pain, but in my lower arm, it feels like the bone aches. It hurts when I lift my arm to brush hair, or hold things. Do you think it could be the metformin causing it? I have a Drs appointment next Thursday, I will mention it to him.

Hi sunhat. I am on me form in slow release its a bit hard for me to answer this I am type 2 but I also have psoratic arthritis and osteo arthritis in pain all the time better mention to your go.hope you get sorted.

This post got me thinking...I also have pains in 1 arm and take metformin and statins!!
Maybe I should mention to doc as well. Maybe its not old age afterall :) :)
