Hi there. I have been type 1 for 45 years and am 59 years old. My control has been pretty good over the years prob due to my work as landscaper as manual work has kept blood glucose at reasonable levels plus sensible control. It has crept up to about 8.2 over last couple of years as i have eased off work a little bit and in the last 4 months since around xmas i have a lot of aching in both elbows, one shoulder and back of both knees which i am finding annoying and wondered if any other long term type 1's have come across this at all and how they remedied or helped alleviate it. Any thoughts would be appreciated as thinking of maybe alternative tablets such as glucosamine or like - Dave
