Achy Legs

Hi Guys,

I seem to be experiencing extremely achy legs since I've been taking 4 x 500mg Metformin. Does anyone know if this is connected or if it's just my body telling me to exercise!!!

Oh - the continuing battle with the blood monitor - my diabetic nurse has told me that people on Metformin do not need to test and can not experience Hyper's or Hypo's. The saga continues... :roll:

I asked my GP this very question on Monday, and was told it was the Metformin. Exercise does seem to help for me (a bit!)
 
thankyou for answering one of my medical problems i suffer with terrible aching legs have mentioned them to gp but he never mentioned it could be metformin i do find the aching easier when out walking my dogs, evenings when im sitting quiet they ache terribly , all the medication im on they all seem to have side effects i get really fed up with it :!: :!:
 
Thankyou very much for this info that you got from the doc. very interesting. i just thought i was getting old and over doing it at the gym!! :lol:

I find that you have to keep moving as when you do sit and relax you tighten up.
