I am on a pump and only give myself enough insulin for 1/2 the carbs I eat at the meal before I exercise then I reduce my basal to 50% for Zumba, nothing for aquacise, 65% for pilates and 40% if playing tennis/exercising in the sunshine. It is just trial and error as I think we are all different. It took me months to work this out but was made easy because I do the same exercise every week. I still get caught out if I do something unexpected, eg long walk or dancing. Hope this helps?

Match the insulin to your exercise, remember that it takes about three hours or more for a change in basal to take effect on the pump.

Generally aerobic exercise needs a reduction, and may also need carbs to support it, anaerobic may increase BG and may need an increase in basal, or a small bolus.

You'll need to experiment to find your own requirements, but remember to test before exercise, every 30-45 mins and afterwards.
