actos - pioglitazone

Just been reading todays news page on here. Do you think it is ok to keep taking actos or is there an alternative drug. I've just had my prescription increased to 30 mg but after reading about some countries banning this drug I think I might speak to my db nurse about it!

I got swollen ankles etc when I was on it and they happily changed mine. If you are ever worried about any medication you are talking its always wise to speak to your gp. There is allot of alternatives so its worth seeing them if your worried.
