It's calcium carbonate and vitamin D3. And it says it contains "a small amount of sugar". Try Tums and get your vitamins in your food. I've never taken a vitamin supplement. Or calcium (but I do take Tums on occasion).
Tums is a commonly used antacid tablet for indigestion here. There are other varieties/brands. It's the same thing as the OP is taking: Calcium Carbonate, 500mg per little tablet. Each tablet contains 1.5g sugar. AdCal D3 the OP takes is the equivalent of 3 Tums and some vitamin D3 in the same pill probably for 10x the price lol. I can get 150 of these tabs for about $4. So it would cost 8 cents for one of his AdCal tabs.
The old DEXA bone density scan. Man that was hot stuff when it was new in the 90's. So you take the equivalent of 12 of my antacid tabs a day. 32 cents. Bet you can eat a load of hot Mexican food anytime you want! These were prescribed after had osteoporosis scan.

Been taking these capulets (2 twice a day) for a few days now and my bg levels seem to have risen and need to know if this is usual. Not sure if I should up my insulin doses to counteract or not.
