Where I am working, I find that so many care about my general health. It is so touching to see so many watching me and asking frequently, 'are you ok?'. I tell them, 'yes I am good, thank you for your concerns'. Customers pull me aside and tell me I look tired, and it is so touching. Fellow diabetics come to me and tell me I am an inspiration, and it thrills me that I have this much recognition. But I try not to 'read my own press', as an old saying goes. Ego has no place here. I give my time freely, I make myself available to those who need help. Is this not the true face of accomplishment?
