hey, I'm kinda new to all this and I'm after some advice on CGM.
Where I live I have no funding and the doctors aren't really helpful with any advice, I live in the UK and have been told that I wouldn't be able to buy a CGM because I live in the UK?
I really like the idea of them but I don't really understand much about them.
My fingers are constantly sensitive and my numbers are all over the place, I feel like I have no control over my own body:(
And from what I've read about CGM finger pokes can be reduced too as little as 2 times a day!:)
So please can anybody help me with going about buying one and advice on how much, the upkeep price, what else I would need to buy, how regualy I would need to replace it and how and where I would be able to buy a CGM from?

Thanks :)

There is no reason why you can not buy a CGM in the UK, they are non prescription items. You are sadly misguided in thinking that you need only poke your finger twice a day as any correction dose or meal bolus needs to be confirmed via a finger poke first.

Kinda gutted about the finger pokes, but did question myself after posting anyway.
Just checked out the link you posted, could only find one sensor meter, which was the freestyle one, looked good the upkeep seems expensive but also it is currently unavailable? I've heard about CGM that you can have Bluetooth on too a mobile device? I'm guessing these are a lot more expensive?

All this info is on the page I linked for you.
Sore fingers can be sorted by testing at the side of fingers and using the right depth on your poker. Diabetes uncontrolled then start with some basal testing and see what's going wrong and why.
