advice needed

hello everyone,
I would really appreciate your advice. I have Been doing LCHF for two weeks and reached the Keto state, and my fasting glucose was about 4,7-5,3 each morning. Last two days I have been eating carbs and sugar, and my fasting level has been 6,6, which worries me. Yesterday after eating my glucose was 4,7 after having a late dinner, and today in the morning it was 6,6.
I am not diabetic, and my long time sugar is 31, but these high morning spikes do bother me a lot and I can’t seem to get an explanation to why that happens. Can it be that my insulin response is damaged, because I avoided carbs before and it takes time to rebuild it?

Best regards

Probably Dawn Phenomenon: The liver dumps sugar in the morning to get you some energy to start the day. (In diabetics and non-diabetics alike). If you had carbs previously, there's more in the liver to spare. I woudn't start worrying just yet.

Getting into ketosis takes 3-4 weeks. You ate low carb then ate more carbs and saw higher readings, what is your goal?

My understanding is, whilst everyone's body releases glucose to start the day, most people (without diabetes) do not experience the BG rise that the pancreatically-challenged see because their body quickly reacts to the rising BG and releases insulin.

Sorry, I have no understanding of keto or why this may cause a high morning BG as seen by @Bojansthlm. But it looks as if those who do have started to provide useful input.

Thank you all, from your knowledge, could it be that the reason why my blood sugar is higher in the morning is because insulin production has been affected by eating LCHF diet? And if I eat carbs the insulin production will go back to working faster? I’m guessing that the reason why my blood sugar is so high in the morning is because due to eating LCHF the insulin released was affected. Usually my levels are 5,5-5,7 in the mornings and goes down around lunch, now it’s 6,6 after I cut out the carbs for two weeks and then added them back. So I was thinking that maybe the insulin production could be affected and if I start eating carbs normally again, will the insulin go back to the way it used be?
