Hi, first time using so please be gentle.
I have been diabetic for 30 years. I was hypo at my son's school and knew I wasn't well and therefore left a meet the teacher meeting. I meet a teacher I don't know who would let me leave by the door I was by because she had locked it (the door wasn't alarmed and was easy to unlock/relock).
Unfortunately not a good hypo and not myself - very snappy. Teacher said I couldn't leave by door and in my opinion was very rude. I told her twice I am insulin dependent diabetic/hypo and needed to leave. After an exchange she allowed me to leave after telling me I was a disgrace as a parent.
I have put a complaint into school on how I was treated and have said my symptons are there and made clear unwell etc. Really concerned now that I am going to have a referral made to Children services and have my son taken from me and wondered if anyone else has had an issue anything like mine.
Any advice gratefully received.
