Hiya,
As I'm having trouble tolerating medication for type 2 diabetes, my GP has suggested a low caeb diet. I've seen a dietitian who has given me breakfast ideas, however, I'm on a tight budget with a family to feed. Does anyone have any good meal suggestions that the whole family could eat, and not just me? I'm feeling a little swamped after looking online for ideas!!!

Try the low carb food forum here, loads of idea's there. Another idea, when making a family meal, give everyone else, the usual, and you omit the carbs and just replace with something else. If they have rice, you have cauliflower rice, they have chips, you have celeriac chips, mash can be replaced with cauli mash. Loads of ways to fit a low carb lifestyle in with family meals.
