Hi I have been low carbing for 11 weeks with lots of success, however with no change to my eating plan my sugars have suddenly risen from the 6's to the 8's.
Does you body and diabetes get used to low carbing so you have to do it more or could there be another reason

A range of things could affect your sugar levels even if your diet / eating habits haven't changed.

My sugar levels go up when I am getting a cold - this happens even before I know I am getting a cold.

I have a stressful job so when I am on holiday I tend to get more hypos as my need for insulin seems to go down.

I hope you find the reason for the change!

Are you losing weight? I noticed a similar short term rise and then I'd drop a few pounds on the scales. Then I'd be back into the 6s. It doesn't happen anymore but I've also stopped losing weight.
