I haven't got contact with my DSN till Tuesday and I'm needing to make some changes to my basal rates as had some changes on my fasting rates last night. However I'm not really 100% sure which ones to change so looking for some advise from someone more experienced if anyone can help. Here are my readings from last night after not eating since 7.30pm

10pm.... 4.2
12pm....4.2
2am...3.3
4am...5.6
5.25...5.3
9am...2.9

Im under the impressions its the hourly block before a hypo I need to reduce by 0.1 but is it just the one hour before or would you reduce both of the previous time blocks? The DSN had said only to check my blood at 2am and if it was low then reduce rates from 10pm to 2pm but I feel that between 10-12 it was stable so don't really want to change that one. Also after treating the hypo 2 hours after I would say for bloods to return to 5.6 would be about right so don't think I should change this one? I'm on quite a strict target range of 4-5.9 due to being pregnant so eager to get these night time hypos away as I'm having lots of hypos during the day too.

Thank you to anyone that reads and responds its very much appreciated!!

Not eating since 7.30 would mean basal test starting at 12.30. Qa lasts between 4~5 hours. Those results would suggest a bit less bolus with your meal prior at 7.30.
Also, you had a low 3, did you not have a sugary snack ? You should of. so, by the time titre bolus had finished you had a rise to low 5s, but because of the low 3 earlier you had another drop. This would void the test.
You need to aim sure 5~7 prior to the basal test, not go below 4 during the basal test.

Yes I had a sugary snack, a 150ml can of coke which I have always found sufficient to bring me back to approximately 5 this has always worked for me whichever form of insulin whether cloudy or clear insulins that I have used for the last 23 years.

Because I'm pregnant my readings cannot go above 5.9 at any point with the exception of 1 hour post meal readings. Unfortunately I think it's inevitable if I go to bed at the highest of 5.9 and my basal rate is too high throughout the night that I'm going to go below 4 :( if I wasn't pregnant it would be abit easier as it wouldn't be so important to stay so strict within my ranges at the beginning of the tests, but unfortunately I have no choice :(

oh , I do think that being pregnant does recommend even tighter control than usual so now it makes a bit of sense lol.

I usually reduce basal 2 hours prior to the low, for it to take effect at the right time. Although basal, because we are on a pump using qa, it does still peak at 1.5 ~2 hours later. So adjusting slightly at 10pm would prevent going low at 12. Would try following your dsns advice on that, adjust and retest. By adjusting between 10pm~2am , this will hopefully prevent your lows through the night at 12am~4am, and hopefully stop you needing a correction also.
