What are the chances they could be wrong
Ouch! If I were in your shoes I'd thread lightly with the carbs till I get the result in 8 days time? Bran flakes and milk are quite carby. 23.6 is quite a high number. I was told to contact my endo team if mine ever got above 18, so maybe give your GP a call and let him/her know what's going on ...? Can the appointment be moved forward? This could be risky business for you.took them just now and they have shot up to 23.6 I had 45g bran flakes and blueberries with milk and a coffee
I'm glad to hear it's tomorrow, but I'd still give him/her a ring, just to make sure that it can wait till tomorrow, but I'm probably being more cautious with my advice to a stranger than I would be to myself. I have next to no experience with insulin, so please bear that in mind.See I haven’t been told anything I have a Drs appointment tomorrow as I want to do the low carb and coz I’m on insulin 8units at night I thought I’d better check. I have had no diet advice only to eat things in moderation
Well, I have the test done one week before my review. It's my impression that Denmark and England are quite similar where this is concerned (too). How long do blood results usually take to come back
Did you tell him or her that you were worried about your high readings of 24?I spoke to the consultants secretary
Go for low/no carb foods. We can't have you starving too, can we? How about an omelet with cheese and bacon for supper? Or a pork chop? Have a little something, and see how you fare. If it does rise further I'd go to the A&E, or at least call an emergency number for advice.I worried to eat anything in case it throws it even higher
I don’t want to be admitted again. I’m having roast chicken for dinner and I’m going to have a cheese scrambled egg before I get my son from school. I’m going to test my sugars again if still up I’ll call Drs/nurse for advice
